“I am excited about my new role at IBC. I have been in distribution all my life, so, my background allows me to hit the ground running – developing competitive programs for suppliers that help them gain market share by growing sales and visibility within the IBC network,” said Schwind. “One of the things that attracted me to IBC is that they are more than a buying group. IBC is unique in that it proactively builds national business with end-users to help independent distributors stay competitive. IBC is executing against a solid, lean strategy that benefits the independent distributors, suppliers, and end-users. I am looking forward to doing my part to expand and strengthen the network.”
Over the last year, IBC has demonstrated its commitment to building a high performance team, providing the highest quality service and support to its buying group members and positioning IBC for growth. Following the addition of Bob Kellogg, Director of Business Development – Distributors, Ted Buck, Director of National Accounts and Supplier Diversity and Shannon Filippelli, Director of Marketing; Schwind rounds out the team with her focus on suppliers. “Nancy is a strong addition to the IBC team,” said Ron Nuñez, President & COO of IBC. “She has a well-rounded expertise in sales and marketing and understands what it takes to successfully grow business relationships with tier 1 suppliers in our industry.
