The “Oil Absorbent” market is comprised of solely conventional products that perform at maximum to second?rate levels. Products like Polypropylene made from a poly plastic and air, shaped into absorbent pads, spill kits, containment socks and roll pads are the most highly priced absorbents and are most commonly used. It would be unsuitable to use polypropylene absorbents in certain spillage conditions, such as in the open in varying weather conditions and in unpredictable terrains. A more suitable use for polypropylene absorbents would be for tiny oil spills and oil leaks, indoors in a shop or controlled setting and not necessarily the foremost effective product for all uses.
