Swiss fluid technology giant Sulzer will provide pumps, parts and services to the world’s largest oil company under a newly announced agreement, officials announced Thursday.
The “corporate procurement agreement” with Aramco, the company said, will establish a framework for providing centrifugal pumps, spare parts and aftermarket services across the Saudi oil and gas producer's global operations for five years, along with an optional three-year extension.
Sulzer officials said the announcement follows a significant expansion of its footprint in Saudi Arabia and reinforces its position as “a trusted partner of high-performance pumping solutions.”
“The combination of Sulzer’s 190-years of engineering heritage with Aramco’s global leadership helps us to play an important role in the long-term success of the region’s energy sector,” Alex Myers, the regional president for India, Middle East & CIS (INMEC) in Sulzer’s services division, said in the announcement.
