Safety and tool supplier SureWerx announced Wednesday that it will launch a new line of work footwear under the Dickies workwear brand.
Dickies Safety Footwear, the company said, would feature a range of safety-toe and soft-toe options for industrial, warehouse, construction and service industry work. The announcement marks the first entry of the Dickies brand into the safety segment.
“Workers today expect more from their footwear, because the job demands more from them,” Aaron Atkinson, the footwear president at SureWerx, said in a statement. “This collection reflects a deep understanding of how people actually work: for long hours, in tough conditions, and with no room for compromise.”
The first deliveries of the footwear are slated to begin in the fourth quarter of the year.
