HERNDON, VA — Beacon Roofing Supply announced Wednesday that it has opened a new branch in Ocala, FL. This new branch raises the total of Beacon's new branch openings in 2015 to four (Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Arvada, CO; and Ocala, FL). Beacon has opened 30 new branches in 19 states and one Canadian province in the last 18 months and now operates 270 branches throughout the U.S. and Canada. Beacon has added 204 branches through greenfield openings and acquisitions since its IPO in 2004.
Paul Isabella, Beacon's President and CEO, emphasized the importance of greenfield openings to Beacon's overall growth strategy and stated, "We are very pleased to open our new Ocala, Florida branch and expand our footprint in Florida, which is a key growth state for Beacon. The new Ocala branch will enable us to reach new customers and expand our business with existing customers.
