Montreal-based janitorial-sanitation distributor Dissan Group acquired a counterpart in the city’s suburbs late last month, company officials announced.

Produits Nettoyants Pronet Inc., or Pronet, provides hygiene solutions to industrial, commercial and institutional customers across Greater Montreal and the Monteregie region in Southwest Quebec.

Pronet co-founder and General Manager Philippe Lamarche said that the deal represented “a strategic opportunity to align with a well-structured organization” amid “the increasing consolidation of the jan-san market.”

“As the industry continues to evolve rapidly, joining the Dissan Group was a natural and strategic decision,” Lamarche said in the announcement. “This transaction allows us to become part of a strong, well-established organization that shares our vision and values, creating a promising future for our team and our customers.”

Dissan President and CEO Alex Trudel added that the deal would enhance its presence and market share in a key “strategic territory,” but that “Pronet’s true value lies in the talented individuals who join our organization.”

“The team stands out for its entrepreneurial mindset, operational agility and deep understanding of market dynamics — qualities that will help us continue to evolve and grow,” Trudel said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition was the second for Dissan Group in 2025, following three deals in 2024.
