FORT WORTH, TX — Richards Supply Company, a general line industrial and contractor supply house, announced Thursday the acquisition of Fort Worth-based Manske Material Handling, effective Dec. 1.
Manske Material Handling has built a robust and diversified client list since its establishment in 1993. With the purchase, Richards Supply Company obtains its second Fort Worth location, helping the company expand its client base and North Texas market presence.
Richards Supply Company is home to over 50 employees across its three current locations. With the addition of Manske’s business, Richards Supply will take on two additional full-time and one part-time personnel. The acquisition includes Manske’s primary product lines including wheels, casters, hand trucks, pallet jacks and carts, as well as the company’s in-house fabrication capabilities for repairs and special and large orders. The new showroom and warehouse facility, together with the increased inventory and custom service capabilities, furthers Richards Supply Company’s longstanding tradition of providing exceptional commitment, quality, and service to its customers across a broad range of industries.
“We are very excited about the Manske team joining the Richards family. Everyone at MMH shares our “Customer First” mentality and passion for helping customers solve problems, increase productivity, and improve efficiencies”, said Eric Wessinger, Richards President. “We look forward to getting to know MMH’s customers and suppliers and introducing our current customers to our new expanded product and service offering”.
