Coatings, chemicals and MRO distributor Blend Supply has been named an “authorized master distributor” by a French specialty chemical supplier, company officials announced Tuesday.
Under the partnership, Blend will provide products from Socomore's aerospace chemical portfolio to customers across North America. Socomore plans to shift to a “distributor-focused model” in the region beginning next month.
Socomore’s products, Blend officials said, are used in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, as well as in space programs. The distributor will support its aerospace customers through “multiple U.S. distribution centers.”
"These technologies are deeply embedded in aerospace manufacturing and maintenance operations around the world," Blend Supply President Clint Broadie said in a statement. "Our role as an authorized master distributor ensures customers have a reliable, well‑stocked source backed by the logistics, service and technical expertise required in aerospace operations."
