Romi Chooses Jones Machinery As Its New Dealer

Romi Machine Tools Ltd. has appointed Jones Machinery Inc. as its distributor for Kentucky, Southern Ohio, and Southern Indiana.

Erlanger, KY—Romi Machine Tools Ltd. has appointed Jones Machinery Inc. as its distributor for Kentucky, Southern Ohio, and Southern Indiana.

Founded in 1981, Jones Machinery was acquired by Kevin Merk in 1992. Since then, he has built a team of sales, application and service specialists to better serve the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana machine tool markets.

Factory Trained Service Technicians provide on-site service to help their customers maximize uptime. Jones offers Planned Maintenance Packages and Ball Bar and Laser Calibration among its services.

Jones Machinery serves as a supplier to many of the region’s top companies and scores of small, medium and large job shops and contract manufacturers throughout the tri-state area.

Jones Machinery will offer Romi machine tool sales and service including application assistance, training, repair and spare parts.

Romi is one of the world’s largest machine tool builders with an installed base of more than 150,000 machines. The company manufactures metalcutting machine tools, plastic injection molding machinery at its 9-plant, 1.5-million sq. ft. industrial complex in Santa Barbara d’Oeste, Brazil.

Romi’s captive foundry supplies castings for its own line of machine tools as well as for other customers around the world. The company services US customers from its Erlanger, KY facility.
