Global Industrial Company last week held its “Corporate Day of Service” at a Long Island school for girls navigating mental health challenges, the company said Monday.

Global Industrial employees and interns, along with students and staff at Harmony Heights Day School, installed donated benches and tables in outdoor spaces on the school’s East Norwich, New York, campus.

Harmony Heights, which continues to recover from a 2023 fire, serves girls in grades 8 through 12 from Long Island and New York City; Global Industrial officials said that the “welcoming outdoor spaces” would support students’ “academic, social-emotional and therapeutic needs.”

"We believe resilient communities are strengthened by welcoming spaces where people can connect, learn and thrive,” Global Industrial CEO Anesa Chaibi said in a statement. “We're honored to partner with Harmony Heights on a project that will create a lasting gathering place for students and reflects our commitment to helping build environments that serve communities for years to come."
