GRAND RAPIDS, MI— Burke Porter Group, a global supplier of intelligent testing instrumentation and assembly systems and solutions, recently announced the acquisition of WinterPark Engineering LLC, a provider of mission critical engineering services for global emissions and regulatory applications, headquartered in Auburn Hills, MI. Full terms of the deal were not disclosed.
WinterPark specializes in the engineering and regulatory management of emission and on-board diagnostics (OBD) development and testing. The company’s broad services are provided to customers in the automotive, heavy duty, industrial, marine, government and defense industries.
The acquisition provides expanded key technology complementary to BPG’s emissions testing instruments. WinterPark’s relationships with key regulatory agencies combined with BPG’s direct knowledge and industry-recognized vehicle test systems will allow for greater support to its existing and future customers.

The agreement provides for existing management continuity over WinterPark’s business activities with no change in day-to-day business or contacts. Mark Frank will remain as President of WinterPark.
