Pennsylvania tools, abrasives and safety supply distributor SK Industrial has acquired New Jersey counterpart Wayne Tool & Supply, company officials announced.
Wayne Tool, located in Kearny, New Jersey, is a provider of cutting tools, abrasives, fasteners and MRO supplies founded in 1957. SK owner Fred Schutte, who announced the deal in a post on his LinkedIn page, wrote that the deal was “a natural fit” that would position the company for growth in the region.
“Wayne Tool has always operated with the same work ethic, integrity and customer-first mindset that defines SK Industrial,” Schutte wrote. “Bringing our teams together strengthens our ability to support existing customers, expand our capabilities, and continue delivering the level of service our partners expect.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
