Sick
Sick (Minneapolis, MN) introduced the sensingCam SEC200 for logistics and industrial identification environments. The sensingCam SEC200 image-based code reader is designed for fast 1D and 2D code identification, IP65-rated environmental protection, browser-based setup and CRA-compliant cybersecurity. It can be used in manual picking stations, assembly lines, parcel dispatch points and automated shop floors.
Features:
- 1.3-megapixel code reader that captures 1D and 2D codes at reading distances from 100 to 300 mm, regardless of code alignment or orientation
- Green feedback LED and acoustic signal to immediately confirm successful code reads and lower operator training time
- Enclosed to protect internal components against dust, water spray and mechanical stress in harsh operating environments
- Equipped with integrated web server and LED alignment aid for configuration via web browser without additional software, plus settings cloning for rapid multi-device deployments
- Developed following CRA-compliant process to meet European Union Cyber Resilience Act standards for products with digital elements that process or communicate data
