Kenosha, WI-based tool maker Snap-on announced Friday that it has acquired the assets of Ecotechnics S.p.A for approximately $13.0 million in cash.
Sesto Fiorentino, Italy-based Ecotechnics, with 2014 sales of approximately $13.6 million, designs and manufactures automatic vehicle air conditioning maintenance equipment for OEM dealerships and the automotive aftermarket worldwide. Ecotechnics will be part of the company’s Repair Systems & Information Group.
Snap-on says the move further expands its offering of productivity solutions for repair shop owners and managers.
