NEW YORK (AP) — Garmin Ltd. said Friday it acquired Belanor AS, which distributes Garmin's GPS systems and other products in Norway.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company will be renamed Garmin Norge AS and it will retain its management, sales, marketing and other staff.
Garmin shares rose 68 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $31.73 in afternoon trading.
