Cleveland, OH - Mazzella Lifting Technologies, a manufacturer and distributor of lifting and rigging gear has opened a new branch in Virginia, Minnesota. The Virginia facility is in a central location for serving the local Taconite Mines and other general industry in the region. Mazzella is providing lifting and rigging products and inspection services.
“We see the Mazzella Companies’ expansion into the Mesabi Range of Minnesota as a natural progression of our long-term relationship with U.S. Steel. We value this relationship and the opportunity to supply the Minntac and Keetac taconite plants from our Virginia, MN location.” says Craig Hayward, President, Mazzella Companies.
Craig also states, “Our Branch Manager, Todd Toman, has over eight years of experience working in the U.S. Steel taconite facilities. His professionalism and relationships within the plants will offer us a unique perspective and opportunities with these businesses and others within the region.”
Mazzella will maintain an inventory of: wire rope, chain and synthetic slings; wire rope; rigging hardware; hoists; hoist parts; pullers and other related rigging products.
