There's no doubt about it, the economic situation in the United States is worsening. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke says the economy "remains vulnerable to unexpected developments." However, Bernanke said the Fed is ready to take major action to help stimulate the economy, if necessary. Stay tuned.
