CS Unitec (Norwalk, CT) offers the Poly PTX Accu 28V, a cordless longitudinal grinder. According to the company, it can be used for as long as 15 minutes on one charge. It is meant for on-site use or assembly work where a power supply isn’t available. Lightweight, at only 8.1 lbs., including battery, the tool operates at 3000 RPM. The PTX is well balanced and features a right- or left-handed adjustable anti-vibration handle for comfortable, fatigue-free working. It uses abrasive rollers up to 4.5” diameter and includes a safety hood, grinding belt, roller, fleece wheels, and more.
