PFERD (Leominster, MA) offers the Polifan Curve SG-Plus flap disc, featuring an entirely new flap wheel design. According to the company, the flap disc's unique radial shape allows for aggressive grinding with not only the bottom and edge of the flap disc, but also with the top edge as well. The Curve is recommended for use with high-powered angle grinders having a minimum output of 1200W and is ideal for the precision grinding of fillet welds as well as for deburring, chamfering, and all grinding of steel and stainless steel. A 9/16” width disc is available for fillet welds up to 1/8” wide and 5/8” width for weld widths up to 5/16” wide. The unthreaded arbor hole version has a 7/8” bore and the threaded version has a 5/8-11 thread.
