Electrical distributor Arrow Electronics recently announced the completion of its acquisition of immixGroup, a value-added distributor/reseller of IT solutions headquartered in McLean, Va. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
immixGroup supports more than 800 value-added resellers, solution providers, service providers, and other public sector channel partners with specialized resources to accelerate their government sales. The company distributes value-added IT services and solutions offered by over 250 technology suppliers.
The acquisition will enhance Arrow's presence in the federal market. Zacks Equity Research notes that data from USAspending.gov shows Arrow Electronics’ sales to federal agencies were approximately $20.8 million in 2014 versus immixGroup’s $418.3 million.
