ALBANY, NY — Electric motor, drives, controls, and power transmission products distributor KJ Electric announced Friday it has opened a new 18,000 square foot facility in Albany, NY. The newly expanded and state of the art facility, includes both a repair and distribution center.
KJ Electric has doubled their size and the new building includes in stock inventory of motor, drives, controls and power transmission products, a motor repair facility and general office space. The repair shop has new equipment such as cranes, lathes, balancing stands, allowing KJ Electric to provide motor repair and preventative maintenance to Albany area customers.
“This new facility is a great opportunity for KJ Electric to better serve our customers in the capital region” said owner and CEO Ken Jacobs, “While our previous facility had served us for many years, we are excited to begin this next chapter at our new location”.
In addition to expanding their facility and capabilities, KJ Electric is also hiring personnel for industrial sales, repair and field services in the Albany area.
In celebration of this newly opened facility, KJ Electric will be holding an Open House Event on May 8, . The event will feature product information and demonstrations, on-site service demonstrations and more.
