RelaDyne Acquires Fentress Oil, Greg Wright Supply

The acquisitions strengthen RelaDyne's offering to the Oklahoma and Indiana markets.

CINCINNATI, OH — RelaDyne, a provider of lubricants, fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and industrial reliability services announced Thursday that it has acquired Fentress Oil Company. Fentress, founded in 1930, has been an independent distributor of lubricants, fuel and related products and services in Oklahoma for more than three generations. This acquisition further establishes RelaDyne’s commitment to growth in the lubrication and fuel markets with a strong focus on expanding its industrial services and solutions.

Fentress has three strategically located Oklahoma facilities in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Ada, for servicing the state's market. The acquisition of Fentress is contiguous with RelaDyne’s Gulf Coast region, which includes Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.

The operations team will be staying with the company to ensure continuity for customers, employees and suppliers. Fentress will operate as a new hub for RelaDyne with former owner, Randy Perry, as the branch manager going forward.

In addition to the Fentress acquisition, RelaDyne also acquired the business of Greg Wright Supply in northern Indiana in order to expand its products and services reach. This acquisition closes the geography gap between the Chicago/northwest Indiana and Indianapolis markets.
