Graybar Suing Former CFO Over Stolen Information

According to a story by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Graybar Electric Co. is suing its former chief financial officer. D. Beatty D’Alessandro allegedly took confidential computer files and trade secrets when he left the company and may have passed that information on to his new employer.

According to a story by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Graybar Electric Co. is suing its former chief financial officer.  D. Beatty D’Alessandro allegedly took confidential computer files and trade secrets when he left the company and may have passed that information on to his new employer.

The lawsuit was filed Monday in U.S. District Court in St. Louis.

Graybar is seeking the return of “confidential, proprietary and trade secret data."

D'Alessandro resigned December 31st, but remained with the company through the transition until March, while commencing a new job with Univar, a distributor of chemicals, in January.

The lawsuit mentions that a hard drive had been damaged and replaced by D'Alessandro, among other suspicious activities.
