The New York Stock Exchange welcomed executives and guests of W.W. Grainger on Wednesday morning as the MRO products giant continues to celebrate the 90th anniversary of its company founding in 1927. Grainger chairman and CEO DG Macpherson rang the NYSE Opening Bell.
The event follows two other recent bell ceremonies involving major industrial distributors, as Fastenal (No. 7 on ID's Big 50 List) rang the Nasdaq opening bell on Nov. 6, and Lawson Products (No. 37 on Big 50) rang the Nasdaq closing bell on May 31.
Grainger hosts its annual Grainger Show on Feb. 11-13 at the Orlando, FL Convention Center.
