Magnalights’ LM-16-4x1000W telescoping steel light tower allows operators to quickly and safely deploy 4,000 watts of metal halide lighting in locations where elevated illumination is needed for maximum area coverage. This two section light boom can be extended to 18.5 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 9.6 feet and lowered into a horizontal position for transport or stowage. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 9 feet 6 inches in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 7 feet 6 inches in length and 3 inches in diameter. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 1/4 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch. The tower alone reaches 16 feet and the total height of this tower including the metal halide lamps is 18.5 feet.
