Marking its third acquisition in Alabama in the last 20 months, Air Hydro Power has purchased Montgomery-based Alabama Bolt and Supply — a full-line Parker distributor with two Parker Store locations.

LOUISVILLE, KY — Air Hydro Power Inc. has acquired Alabama Bolt and Supply Incorporated of Montgomery, AL, effective July 1.

Alabama Bolt and Supply brings more than 40 years of experience supporting customers throughout central and southern Alabama. Their areas of expertise include hydraulics, pneumatics, hose and fittings and industrial fasteners. They are currently a full-line Parker distributor representing Parker Fluid Connectors, and have two Parker Store locations: Montgomery and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With the addition of Air Hydro Power’s product lines, Alabama Bolt and Supply will have complete Automation, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Hose and Fitting offerings, along with industrial fasteners.

This is the third acquisition Air Hydro Power has made in Alabama in the last 20 months: Total Hose, Powermotion and now Alabama Bolt and Supply. AHP recognized the similarities between the Kentucky and Alabama customer base and was asked by a key vendor to move into the Alabama market in late 2009. AHP now has over 50 employees in Alabama with Parker Store locations in Birmingham, Decatur, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa and Montgomery, Alabama.
