BEDFORD, MA — F.W. Webb Co. has announced the acquisition of North Fork Plumbing & Heating Supply, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and HVAC equipment, parts and accessories, in Riverhead, NY.
Located on the east end of Long Island, this will be the first F.W. Webb wholesale store in the area, strengthening the Bedford, MA-based company’s growing presence in the state of New York.
Established in 1982, North Fork Plumbing & Heating Supply has been serving residential and commercial contractors across Long Island from Montauk to Queens.
"North Fork Plumbing & Heating Supply and F.W. Webb are family-run businesses that share a tradition of putting customers first and deep roots in the residential trades," said F.W. Webb president Jeff Pope. "We look forward to putting the power of our supply chain and distribution behind the Riverhead business and meeting the needs of local contractors."
F.W. Webb operates out of nearly two-dozen locations across the Tri-State area, half of which are in New York. In 2017, the company opened wholesale stores in Mamaroneck, NY, and Vernon, NJ, and set up a 90,000-square-foot distribution hub in Piscataway, NJ. Earlier this year, the company also entered into a sponsorship agreement with the New York Yankees.
