Former Columbus McKinnon CEO Joins Allied Motion's Board

Tim Tevens, who retired in February from his post as CEO of Columbus McKinnon, joins the board of directors at Allied Motion Technologies, effective immediately.

AMHERST, NY — Allied Motion Technologies, a global designer and manufacturer of motion control products and solutions, announced Thursday the appointment of Timothy Tevens to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Tevens recently retired after serving 19 years as director and CEO of Columbus McKinnon, a global provider of material handling products, technologies and services. He had initially joined Columbus McKinnon in 1991 as vice president of information services and was appointed CEO in 1996. Prior to joining Columbus McKinnon, Tevens spent more than 10 years in various management consulting capacities with Ernst & Young LLP. Tevens served on the board of directors of Zep, Inc. from December 2007 through its sale in June 2015.
