Founded in 1968, family-owned Baumgardner provides 24-hour emergency and mobile services using its fleet of fully-equipped trucks. It also offers in-house service and repair for all brands of hydraulic equipment.

Fort Worth, TX-based fluid power and motion control products distributor Hydradyne announced Thursday that on Dec. 30, it completed an agreement to acquire Boiling Springs, SC-based Baumgardner Hydraulic Service Inc.

Founded in 1968, family-owned Baumgardner provides 24-hour emergency and mobile services using its fleet of fully-equipped trucks. It also offers in-house service and repair for all brands of hydraulic equipment. Like Hydradyne, Baumgardner is a Parker distributor.

It's the second announced acquisition for Hydradyne within a month. The company — No. 42 on Industrial Distribution's Big 50 List — announced Jan. 12 that it agreed to acquire Orlando, FL-based Hydraulic House Inc.

"Baumgardner has built a solid and successful operation and provided superior local service for decades. We share that strong customer focus with them. Hydradyne will help Baumgardner by offering our broad and deep product lines to its service customers," said Hydradyne president David Parks. "In turn, Hydradyne will utilize Baumgardner’s expertise and veteran service team to offer exceptional service and customer support throughout the Carolinas and Georgia. Together we will deliver an exceptional and unmatched customer experience."
