Protective Industrial Products Acquires Century Glove

LATHAM, NY – December 9, 2016 – On Friday, Protective Industrial Products (PIP) announced its 20th acquisition with the addition of Century Glove, Inc.

For over 75 years, Summerville, GA-based Century Glove has manufactured work gloves and accessories in the U.S.

“Century Glove will definitely add some unique products to our line and will add capacity for U.S. domestic-manufactured personal protective equipment,” said Joe Milot, President of PIP. “We plan to move this production to our McHenry Manufacturing facility in Bluffton, IN, the home of the most versatile production facility in the U.S. for the unique needs of the safety industry.”

Century Glove has been well-known for supplying industrial gloves and accessories. To this day, Century Glove remains a leader in custom bags, gloves and wing socks.

“For us, it’s more capacity and more new products which fit perfectly into our flexible production model,” said Steve Robbins, President of PIP’s domestic manufacturing divisions, PR Industries and McHenry Manufacturing.
