GREENSBORO, NC — Tencarva Machinery Company, No. 41 on Industrial Distribution's 2016 Big 50 List, has acquired Dixie Pump & Machine Works in Brookhaven, MS, plus the assets of a portion of Predictive Maintenance Consultants in Brookhaven, from owners Reggie Allen and Collins Allen, of Brookhaven.
Founded in 2006, Dixie Pump & Machine Works is a repair facility, with 11 employees, serving customers in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana. They primarily work on rotating equipment.
In addition to Dixie Pump, Tencarva also purchased assets of a portion of Predictive Maintenance Consultants (PMC) that relates to rotating equipment. PMC offers predictive maintenance services, such as vibration analysis, infrared imaging and PDMA online motor testing. The business portion of PMC that relates to electrical services continues to be owned by Collins Allen and Reggie Allen as an independent entity.
Transitioning immediately to the Tencarva Machinery Company LLC brand, the Brookhaven location will collaborate with the Jackson (Miss.) Branch office to serve customers throughout the state of Mississippi. Both owners will continue to be involved in Tencarva, with Collins Allen serving as Brookhaven branch manager and his father, Reggie Allen as a consultant.
