MC Machinery Systems Breaks Ground On New Headquarters

The new building in Elk Grove Village, IL, will feature 50,000 square feet of office space spread across two stories, 75,000 square feet of ancillary office, storage areas and a 50,000-square-foot showroom to showcase MC Machinery’s equipment.

WOOD DALE, IL — Metalworking and metal fabrication machine manufacturer MC Machinery and its partners The Opus Group, Elk Grove Village and Heitman Architects held an official groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site for the new corporate headquarters on June 30.

The new building, which is located at 85 Northwest Pt. in Elk Grove Village, IL, will feature 50,000 square feet of office space spread across two stories, 75,000 square feet of ancillary office, storage areas and a 50,000-square-foot showroom to showcase MC Machinery’s equipment.

“When deciding on a location for our new facility, we knew we wanted to stay close to Chicago’s interstate 90 due to the numerous partners in the area as well as proximity to O’Hare International Airport,” Pat Simon, Marketing and Corporate Planning Manager said. “But our main concern was our employees and choosing a location that would be close to our existing facility while providing them a new, state-of-art place to come to work to everyday. We are extremely proud of our long-tenured employees and want to preserve that.”

MC Machinery will stay in its nearby Wood Dale facility until December 2016, when the construction will be completed.
