CHARLESTON, SC — Sonepar USA recently presented its first annual Safety Recognition Awards to four of its businesses: Hagemeyer/IDG, Codale Electric, Electrical Distributors and Crawford Electric Supply.
The awards are part of Sonepar USA’s new Safety Recognition Program, which was launched in conjunction with the organization’s safety awareness campaign, “Safety — Our Shared Passion.” This safety campaign reinforces Sonepar USA’s commitment to making sure its associates leave work in the same condition they arrived in.
Sonepar USA awarded the winners based on a points system of each businesses’ annual OSHA metric results and labor hours in two different recognition categories — Best in Class and Most Improved. Hagemeyer/IDG, Codale Electric and Electrical Distributors all won Best in Class, and Crawford Electric Supply won Most Improved.
Sonepar North America was No. 5 on Industrial Distribution's 2015 Big 50 List.
