NEWPORT NEWS, VA — Plumbing distributor Ferguson Enterprises has announced the acquisition of Bruce-Rogers Company in a stock transaction completed May 23.

Founded in 1922, Bruce-Rogers Company is a plumbing and HVAC equipment supply house that serves contractors in western Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southern Missouri.

Bruce-Rogers Company’s home office is located in Fort Smith, AR. It has 42 employees in its six branch locations in the Arkansas cities of Rogers, Russellville, Conway, Mena and Hot Springs. The Bruce-Rogers Company brand will continue under the new ownership, now operating as Bruce-Rogers Company, a Ferguson enterprise.

“It was a chance encounter between a Bruce-Rogers Company staff member and a Ferguson associate that resulted in this acquisition,” said Ferguson president and general manager Douglas G. Rogers, III. “This acquisition has the potential to be greatly beneficial to Ferguson, the Bruce-Rogers Company employees and the customers they serve. I can’t say enough about the professionalism of the Ferguson associates in making this transition as smooth as possible.”
