Compressor Products International Names 3 Premium Distribution Partners

Power Ignition and Controls Appalatia, RES Energy and RJ Mann and Associates join CPI as premium distribution channel partners in the U.S. south, Rocky Mountain and east mountain regions.

STAFFORD, TX — Compressor Products International (CPI), a manufacturer of precision-engineered components for reciprocating compressors, announces three new Premium Distribution Channel Partners devoted to sales and service on its compressor lubrication products.

These partners were chosen for their strategic locations, technically competent staff and because they already represent other leading related products including compressor instrumentation and controls. They each have service centers that bring CPI products closer to end users. Each Premium Distribution Channel Partner not only stocks the full assortment of CPI compressor lubrication components and equipment, but have extensive service departments for installation, preventive maintenance, retrofits and emergency service for CPI compressor lubrication products, along with route sales with weekly delivery of parts.

The CPI Premium Distribution Channel Partners are:

  • RES, a division of IDG headquartered in Houston, TX, is CPI’s new Premium Distribution Channel Partner for Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
  • Power Ignition and Controls Appalachia, headquartered in Monessen, PA, will be the Premium Distribution Channel Partner for Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
  • RJ Mann and Associates will serve as a Premium Distribution Channel Partner to the Rocky Mountain region extending from Colorado to North Dakota to Utah from its headquarters in Brighton, CO.

Premium Distribution Partners for other regions of the United States and Canada, including the Gulf Coast, will be announced at a later date.

According to CPI Western Regional Sales Manager Marty Cassem, technicians at each Premium Distribution Channel Partner, including field service staff, have received factory training from CPI technical, product management and engineering teams. This, and an ongoing collaborative relationship with CPI, will ensure a consistent experience regardless of whether a customer works with a Premium Distribution Channel Partner or directly with CPI.

“We fully support our distributors with our application engineering services and technical expertise,” Cassem said. “We also will share maintenance histories on CPI equipment with these partners, so regardless of where our customer goes for service, their technician has full access to service records over the equipment lifecycle.”
