Winsupply Acquires Florida PVF Supplier K&J Supply

Founded in 1994, K&J is a distributor of industrial pipe, valves and fittings that serves the Gulf Coast out of its two locations of Pensacola and Mobile, AL with 30 employees between the two.

Fresh off its March 31 announcement of a new Winwater business near Washington D.C., Winsupply announced on Monday that it has acquired Pensacola, FL-based K&J Supply.

Founded in 1994, K&J is a distributor of industrial pipe, valves and fittings that serves the Gulf Coast out of its two locations of Pensacola and Mobile, AL with 30 employees between the two. K&J has customers in power generation, pulp and paper, chemical, petro-chemical and shipyard industries. The company is led by president Mike O'Neill, who Winsupply says holds substantial equity in the company that will operate as K&J Winsupply.

“Their business culture is a great match with Winsupply," said Roland Gordon, president of Winsupply. "By providing superb service, delivering quality work and retaining excellent employees, K&J has differentiated itself from its competitors along the Gulf Coast."

Gordon said the acquisition gives Winsupply an added footprint in the PVF market of the Gulf Coast, adding that Winsupply already has four plumbing locations in the area serving commercial and residential contractors.

Winsupply said along with O'Neill, other key K&J managers will have the opportunity to purchase equity in the company.
