LOCKPORT, NY — NetPlus Alliance, a buying group for industrial and contractor supplies distributors, has announced the appointment of Shirley Weiland to Assistant Vice President of Operations, effective immediately.
Weiland has a wealth of experience working in the industrial distribution industry, having worked with Dan Judge, NetPlus Alliance’s Chairman and Chief Financial Officer, for 20 years. She started working for I.D. ONE, an industrial supply cooperative buying group, in 1995. Later, she joined NetPlus Alliance as the Director of Operations in 2002, the year of the company’s formation.
“I’m very proud and consider myself very fortunate to have worked for Dan Judge and now Jennifer Murphy for the past 20 years,” said Shirley Weiland. “Not only is NetPlus a great organization to work for, but it goes beyond that and becomes an extended family. As the Assistant Vice President of Operations, Weiland will be responsible for daily operations, reporting and rebate collection, and organizing and managing the company’s annual meeting, regional meetings, trainings, and other events. Additionally, she will work with both distributors and suppliers to address any concerns or provide guidance when they contact the office, as well as facilitate the general day-to-day operations of the company.
