INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Sawmill manufacturer Wood-Mizer LLC has recognized five suppliers for the level of support they provided the company in 2014. Each of these companies was recognized with the annual CREST Award for being outstanding suppliers and peak performers for Wood-Mizer.
Cargo Services Inc., the Indianapolis-based freight forwarding company providing ocean/air cargo, custom brokerage, and distribution services was chosen for their exceptional customer service and response times.
F&M Mafco, the 70-year old Harrison, Ohio company supplying welding equipment, supplies and industrial gases was chosen for their willingness to assist customers at any time of day for any need.
Grainger, the industrial supply company providing various products including safety equipment was chosen for their dedication to customers and focus on lean methods to reduce daily operating costs.
Industrial Hydraulics, the Indianapolis-based supplier providing bulk hydraulic hose and fittings was chosen for their outstanding customer service and value-added support.
Scott Industrial Systems, the Dayton, OH fluid power distributor providing hydraulic valves, pumps, manifolds, and design support was chosen for their excellent responsiveness and attention to detail.

To establish the CREST Award winners, the Wood-Mizer Purchasing team evaluated each of their suppliers on customer service, overall quality, delivery, cost management, and value-added support. The winners were hosted to a luncheon and presented with a recognition plaque. The Wood-Mizer CREST Award stands for: Corporate Recognition Exemplifying Supplier Tenacity.
