Cleveland, OH-based BDI, No. 23 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List, has acquired employee-owned industrial supplier Munnell & Sherrill, based in Portland, OR. Terms were not disclosed.
Munnell & Sherrill supplies products and services including wood products, sand and gravel, agriculture and food processing. Its presence is throughout the Northwest region with eight locations, stretching from Tacoma, WA to Northern California.
Gary Butts will continue to be president of Munnell & Sherrill, according to BDI.
BDI has 200 branches in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia.
