Pelican Products Appoints Director Of Logistics & Warehousing

Torrance, CA-based Pelican Products, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance protective cases and advanced portable lighting, has appointed Rachael Fisher as director of worldwide logistics and warehousing.

TORRANCE, CA — Pelican Products, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance protective cases and advanced portable lighting, has appointed Rachael Fisher as Director of Worldwide Logistics and Warehousing.

Fisher comes to Pelican with more than 17 years of logistics management experience with several Fortune 1,000 companies in North America and Europe within the aerospace, high-tech, automotive, consumer products and industrial manufacturing industries.

In her new role, she will develop and manage all strategic and tactical aspects of worldwide logistics operations and support services, including 3PL services, for customers of all Pelican business divisions. Fisher is tasked with improving the efficiency of inbound and outbound transportation and 3PL services, while improving customer service levels.

Prior to joining Pelican, Fisher served as Director of Global Logistics Development at Neovia Logistics (formerly known as Caterpillar Logistics) where she led global teams responsible for supply chain innovation, execution of new logistics and transportation capabilities and managed the successful implementation of a global transportation platform resulting in enterprise cost reductions.

Fisher's additional previous experience includes serving as Director of Indirect Sourcing at Technicolor USA, entrepreneurial experience as Owner/Operator at Fluidity, and a proven track record as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP and Accenture LTD. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and was recognized in September 2016 by Supply Chain World, “Women in Logistics” for excellence in inventory management and transportation.
