Bearings Supplier C&U Americas Names New President

C&U Americas, the North American subsidiary of the C&U Group, has appointed Jason Stocker as its new president. He succeeds Thomas W. Rouse, who will retire at the end of 2017.

PLYMOUTH, MI — C&U Americas has named Jason Stocker as its new president.

The announcement was made by XianLiang (Peter) Zhou, chairman of C&U Americas, the North American subsidiary of the C&U Group, one of the world’s top 10 bearing manufacturers and China’s largest bearing producer.

Stocker will be responsible for directing all aspects of the C&U Americas operations, including new business, sales, marketing, engineering, customer service, warehousing operations and administration. He succeeds current president Thomas W. Rouse, who will retire from C&U at the end of 2017.

In making the announcement, Zhou stated, “It is my pleasure to welcome Jason Stocker to the C&U Americas’ team. The experience and expertise he has gleaned as a key management and sales executive while serving with two of the world leading bearing manufacturers will prove to be an invaluable asset to our rapidly growing business in the North American market. We look forward to his contribution and guidance.”

Stocker joins C&U Americas after serving for 14 years at the SKF Group in several leadership capacities. Most recently, he was vice president, Automotive Sales U.S. & Canada and responsible for automotive OE and aftermarket bearing sales as well as engineering, customer service and finance. He also handled SKF Group's global business with General Motors for the past eight years. 

Stocker has been a member of several business associations including the Heavy Duty Business Forum with the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). He also participated in the OESA Young Leadership Council and the Certified Strategic Account Manager program with Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA).
