FPDA Motion & Control Network Names New Executive Director

Barbara Dunlavey brings more than 20 years of experience managing numerous international and national membership organizations to FPDA as its new executive director.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The FPDA Motion & Control Network (FPDA), a national trade association serving motion solution providers, including distributors and manufacturers of fluid power, automation and electro-mechanical technologies has announced the appointment of Barbara Dunlavey, CMP, CAE as their new Executive Director. Dunlavey replaces Trish Lilly, who served the association since 2009.

With more than 20 years of experience managing numerous international and national membership organizations,  Dunlavey has developed creative social media marketing campaigns and built successful teams, delivering diverse educational programs, conventions and member services. She has served as a volunteer leader with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), and Board Source. She previously served as executive director of SMRP (Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals and Foundation); BMES (Biomedical Engineering Society and Foundation); and, WID (Women in Defense, National Security).
