Taste Test: Arby’s Fries-Flavored Vodka

Our crew had mixed reviews of the novelty creation.

Arby’s unveiled Nov. 9 that it had partnered with Minnesota-based Tattersall Distilling on a new vodka themed after the fast food chain’s Curly Fries and Crinkle Fries.

The 80-proof, potato-based vodka is distilled with ingredients that “pay homage” to the two fry products, and is getting a limited release.

The ad agency behind the campaign sent our staff samples of both products to try.

The Curly Fry Vodka is distilled with cayenne, paprika, onion and garlic, while the Crinkle Fry Vodka is made with kosher salt and sugar.

A full bottle of either flavor is $59.99 and available Nov. 18 in limited quantities through Surdyk’s Liquor at ArbysVodka.com in 11 states and Washington, D.C.

Along with the Arby’s vodka, we were also sent a full Bloody Mary mix kit, which we happily tried, as well.
