More people are about to get their Amazon orders faster.

On Wednesday, Amazon announced that it has expanded its same-day delivery service to 11 additional U.S. metropolitan areas, as well as adding it to more neighborhoods in the markets it already serves. Amazon Prime members in 27 metro areas can now receive free same-day delivery on qualifying orders over $35.

The new cities that now can get same-day delivery are more medium-sized compared to the ones that already had it. The new cities include Charlotte, Cincinnati, Fresno, Louisville, Milwaukee, Nashville, Raleigh, Richmond, Sacramento, Stockton and Tuscon. It is also now available in new areas of Central New Jersey, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Those join the previous metro areas of Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Fransisco, Tampa Bay, Seattle/Tacoma and Washington.

Same-day delivery is available to members of Amazon's $99-per-year Prime service.

Amazon says Prime members who place orders in the morning (before noon) will have their package delivered by 9 p.m., seven days a week. Orders in the afternoon or evening will have free one-day delivery.

Along with same-day delivery, Amazon also now offers 2-hour delivery for tens of thousands of items via its Prime Now service, available in 25 U.S. metro areas.
