When Don Smith moved his family from Spokane, Wash., to Denver to start up a hose distributorship, he traveled south with a truck full of stuff. Most would think that the truck was filled to the brim with household goods, but Smith laughs at that notion. "About one third of the truck was our furniture and stuff," he says.
