Kenosha, WI – Snap-on is making a major push into the oil and natural gas markets by showcasing its tools, equipment and capabilities at a number of National Oilwell Varco (NOV) Wilson distribution locations in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma as part of its Industrial Tools Tour. At the center of the tour is Snap-on’s unique Advanced Technology Lab (ATL), a high-tech product demonstration on wheels that contains tools and equipment designed specifically for the oil and natural gas markets. The goal of the tour is to introduce Snap-on’s enhanced product and services to its distribution partners that support the oil and natural gas markets, and to their end-user customers. One of the new products on display is Snap-on’s Tools at Height Retention System. Designed for use when technicians are working at elevated levels, Tools at Height is a tethered tool system that prevents tools from falling, while not impeding a technician’s ability to get the job done. The oil and natural gas markets have many applications involving technicians working at elevated levels; being able to freely access their tools and know that they’re fully secure is a tremendous advantage to technicians – both elevated and on the ground. Some of the other oil and natural gas products on display include torque tools, the latest technologies for asset management and tool control, and hand and power tools.
