Reelcraft Industries Introduces New Reel Latching Option

The more traditional ratchet and latch pawl design produces the easily recognizable clicking sound when retracting.

Columbia City, IN - Reelcraft’s Series 4000, 5000 and 5005 reels are all-steel construction and compact for a wide range of applications with critical space requirements. They have historically used a cam and disc latching mechanism that latches at two different points every 180°. The quiet speed latch, as it is referred, requires that the hose be pulled out and then let back slowly for the latch to fall into the disc detent. Now, there is an additional option. The more traditional ratchet and latch pawl design produces the easily recognizable clicking sound when retracting.
