Ohio Transmission Corp. Acquires Industrial Process Equipment

With the acquisition, Ohio Transmission Corporation will add all three IPEG office locations in St. Louis, Missouri; Decatur, Illinois; and Calvert City, Kentucky to its syndicate of 18 locations in six Midwest states and Texas. COLUMBUS, Ohio—Ohio Transmission Corporation has acquired Industrial Process Equipment Group (IPEG), a pump and process equipment company that will broaden the geographical reach of Ohio Transmission Corporation’s industrial product and service offerings and grow the corporation’s expert technical staff. With the acquisition, Ohio Transmission Corporation will add all three IPEG office locations in St. Louis, Missouri; Decatur, Illinois; and Calvert City, Kentucky to its syndicate of 18 locations in six Midwest states and Texas. Ohio Transmission Corporation brought on 52 employees from IPEG at the beginning of the new year, increasing its workforce to 468 employees.

IPEG will become a subsidiary of Ohio Transmission Corporation and benefit from access to additional resources that will enhance the growth of its highly respected pump and process equipment business. The move to acquire IPEG will allow Ohio Transmission Corporation, more commonly known in the marketplace as OTP Industrial Solutions and Air Technologies®, to serve a larger number of customers with a diverse set of industrial equipment and service needs.
