ROCKY HILL, CT — Henkel Adhesive Technologies, a solution provider worldwide for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings, has announced the opening of a new customer training center at its North American headquarters in Rocky Hill to provide hands-on technical application training for Loctite brand maintenance, repair & overhaul products. The center will offer training in surface and repair coatings and related training such as pipe repair and pump rebuilding.

The new MRO Training and Application Center in Rocky Hill is one of five such facilities around the world to help Henkel industrial customers improve the efficiency and reliability of their equipment. Customers will learn correct methods for applying Loctite surface engineering and repair coatings, and can also receive training to become Henkel Certified Applicators in pipe repair and marine chocking.

The new 1,049-square foot center offers training in the application of Loctite products for surface preparation, metal rebuilding, polymer composites/surface coatings, concrete repair and grouting, and cleaners. These MRO solutions help increase the reliability of industrial equipment, reduce downtime, and prevent catastrophic equipment failure. The center will also allow Henkel to conduct customer trials and validation on industrial equipment rather than simply relying on lab tests.

“As a part of Henkel’s mission to be a total solutions provider, we work closely with our customers to ensure that they get the best possible results from our products,” said Paul Chaplinsky, Vice President of Technical Customer Service for Henkel.

This new MRO Training and Application Center will enable us to offer the latest application techniques and certified training for customers and distributors across the U.S. and Canada.”

The center officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the facility.
