H.B. Fuller To Acquire Advanced Adhesives, Expand In Australia & New Zealand

Based near Sydney, Australia, Advanced Adhesives had 2015 sales of $17 million and will be part of H.B. Fuller's Asia Pacific operating segment.

St. Paul, MN-based adhesives manufacturer H.B. Fuller announced Tuesday that is has agreed to acquired Advanced Adhesives, which provides industrial adhesives to the Australia and New Zealand market from its base in South Windsor, a suburb of Sydney, Australia.

The acquisition is expected to close by late April.

Founded in 1985, Advanced Adhesives had 2015 sales of $17 million. It will be part of H.B. Fuller's Asia Pacific operating segment.

H.B. Fuller says Advanced Adhesives works in a wide range of industries, including consumer packaged goods, woodworking and product assembly applications.

“With this acquisition, we will accelerate our profitable growth agenda in Australia and New Zealand,” said Heather Campe, vice president, Asia Pacific, H.B. Fuller. “Advanced Adhesives’ manufacturing capabilities and local market expertise complement our strong network in China, Malaysia and the Philippines. This new business also will enable us to leverage capacity in the region to better serve our current customers and access new markets.”
